"All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need."
This Valentines Day craft was inspired by this classic Beatles song. Here's what you'll need:
A wooden board (decorative edges give it a nice touch)
Wooden Letters: L O V & E
White, Black, Poodle skirt pink paint
paint brushes
Sandpaper
Glitter black paint
~Tutorial~
Start with your wooden board. I found a bunch of these at Michaels in different sizes.
The key is finding the correct size letters to fit right on the board.
Paint it white.
Next, you'll paint the board black...I know you just painted it white but....after painting it black you'll sand it so that you can see the white underneath.
This will give you a rustic/older look.
Now, we're going to do the opposite- paint the letters black.
Now, paint the poodle skirt pink over the black
and sand it down. Cool, eh?
Lastly, put all the pieces together and use your
black sparkle paint to write out
"All You Need Is" on the LOVE.
(one word per letter)
It's the perfect addition!

Hi Stephanie!
I wanted to first thank you for following my blog, it really means a lot to me. I also had to tell you--this post stuck out immediately bc I am a huge Beatles fan, huge! :) What an excellent way to bring the song into a craft, I personally think it can be left out for decor all year round!! You always need love right? :) I look forward to checking back with you and your blog!
Thanks again,
Katie
